I will let students read a lot of literature, and after a period of time, they will have to read English literature. It will take about half a year to get in touch with the true cutting-edge of the research field; I will also strengthen scientific research methods and do academic ethics and academic norm training. . If the student's writing ability is not good, I will pull the student to my side and change the writing of the essay word by word in front of him.

First of all, he should constantly update his knowledge system and understand what is happening at the forefront of the research field. If you are complacent and satisfied with your past grades, you will not be able to provide students with high-quality guidance. An important role of a mentor is to provide students with suggestions for research directions based on their own experience, insight and understanding of the students. If the direction that the tutor finds for the student is not very promising, then even if the student is the best in the world, it will be difficult to publish first-class papers in top magazines. If the tutor chooses a good direction for the student, if the student can be cutting-edge, he will be a real top scientist. To some extent, direction can determine the upper limit of student achievement.

In addition, the instructor must also do his own research. Only by doing it by yourself can you experience the bitterness and sweetness of the students, and it is easier to feel their mentality from the perspective of the students. Teachers, preaching and teaching karma to solve puzzles. The instructor should also keep in contact with the students, such as having a meal together from time to time, to understand their psychology, life, and academic status.
