 On September 17, the H210-10MW unit of China Shipbuilding Corporation Haizhuang Wind Power Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "China Haizhuang") officially rolled off the assembly line at China Haizhuang Dalian Company. The 10 MW offshore wind turbine with the highest area, the launch of this unit fills the gap in my country's development of offshore wind turbines with a power exceeding 10 MW and blades exceeding 100 meters.

In recent years, my country’s offshore wind power industry has been in a period of vigorous development. In 2020, my country’s newly installed offshore wind power capacity will exceed 3GW, accounting for more than half of the global increase. With the withdrawal of national subsidies for offshore wind power after 2021, in response to the upcoming era of parity for offshore wind power, the wind power industry has set off a battle for large megawatt units. At present, the diameter of the wind wheel of the 10 MW unit that has been put into operation in China is less than 200 meters. However, the matching blade of the 10 MW unit that China Haizhuang rolls off the assembly line is 102 meters long and the diameter of the wind wheel is 210 meters. The 10-megawatt offshore wind turbine with the largest wind wheel diameter in China and the highest sweeping area per kilowatt in the world is currently the only 10-megawatt-class offshore wind turbine in the world that adapts to my country’s parity offshore wind power market. Full coverage of wind-like areas, flexibility and compatibility within the power range to achieve high power generation and high return on investment for the entire field. Under the condition of an average annual wind speed of 10m/s, a single unit can generate 40 million kWh of electricity per year, which can guarantee the annual electricity consumption of 40,000 households, reduce carbon dioxide by 40 tons and reduce dust emissions by 10.88 tons per year.
