Under the national key R&D plan "Advanced Rail Transit" key special deployment, under the careful organization and management of the high-tech center of the project management professional organization, CRRC Sifang Co., Ltd. takes the lead. CRRC brings together more than 30 domestic maglev and high-speed rail universities and scientific research The institutes and enterprises jointly implemented the "production, study, research and application" and coordinated research. It took 5 years to successfully overcome the key core technologies of the 600-kilometer high-speed maglev transportation system. The project was launched in October 2016, and a test prototype was developed in 2019. In June 2020, it was successfully tested on the test line of Tongji University in Shanghai. After system optimization, a complete system was developed in January 2021. In joint debugging and testing, my country’s first five-cars of 600 kilometers per hour high-speed maglev engineered trains were independently developed and officially rolled off the assembly line on July 20.
